Friends, colleagues and former students of Alycia have created

 

The ALYCIA LONG ALLEN SCHOLARSHIP FUND

 

We want to honor her, preserve her memory at Chapel Hill High School, and further her life’s work as a visionary educator.  Our goal is to create an endowment of $25,000 which would allow us to offer an annual scholarship award to a graduating Chapel Hill High School senior who has demonstrated talent, commitment, and the ability to overcome adversity.
